Welcome my Secret's In The Sauce friends!!
Here's a little poem to introduce you to my wee blog and to explain why I do what I do. In honor of all you mothers with little girls:
Coil and hiss--writhe and twist--
(Your) hairdo won't get done.
'Cause one hair's hissing, "Ponytail,"
And one yells, "Simple Bun."
One whispers, "Cornrows,"
One screams, "Bangs."
One shouts, "Just wash and dry it."
One snaps, "No , curl and tie it,"
One hollers, "Bleach and dye it."
And how am I to fix (your) hair
If (your) hair will not keep quiet?
Shel Silverstein "Medusa"
I'm so excited to be on SITS today! I became a regular visitor to SITS shortly after I started up my blog. I have met many friends through their fabulous site, and it has been a spectacular source of helpful tips and advice!
Here's a few tidbits about what SITS and my blog have in common:
ECRET'S: We share secrets here! Like how to keep your hair and your little girl's hair healthy, and what to do if your girl has short hair.
N: I can show you how to stuff that hair IN to a stuffed bun. Also, I answer questions about how to keep that hairdo IN your little girl's hair!
HE: This hairdo is THE easiest, and this one is one of THE cutest!
auce: Every girl needs a saucy hairdo, full of sugar and spice!
Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!! Hope to see you again!
Clever, love the poem. Can't wait to see what I can learn.

Such beautiful hair styles. I've always been so bad at doing my girls' hair, luckily they're at the age where they pretty much do it all themselves and squawk when I go anywhere near their precious heads! And the boys are much easier for me at least. Comb it through and go! I could take some lessons from you though. Lovely work. And congrats on your SITS day!
ReplyDeletehappy SITS day! I have only boys - and had boy hair growing up (4 brothers)...so I envy the fun you're havin!
ReplyDeleteCute post and the hairstyles are adorable. One of my little girls who loved to play with hair has now grown into a woman who does it professionally as a stylist and cosmetologist! Happy SITS day.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your SITS day and on your beautiful daughters. You are just what I need, because I promised myself this week I would learn how to fix up my daughter's hair. I can't even make proper pigtails, so I have to find the remedial part of the blog, however. But the whole thing is very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteHappy SITS day. I definitely will be following. I need ideas for my daughters hair.
ReplyDeleteHappy SITS Day! Your daughters are so cute! I wish that I could even attempt to do hair half as nicely as you - I guess I should take a look around!
ReplyDeleteYou make me wish my girls were little again so I could attempt to make them have cute hair. So darling! Have fun enjoying the love today!
ReplyDeleteHappy SITS Day!
